DESCRIPTION:Back in the 1990’s the Wayne Brasel Quartet was a frequent attraction at many of Vienna’s top jazz venues where they played regularly at Porgy and Bess\, Jazz Spelunke\, Jazzland and often at Reigen Live ! On June 6th they will be returning to Vienna and to Reigen to perform the music from Brasel’s two CD’s “ The Note You Left” and “The Beatnik Walk”. Wayne will have with him the original line-up from the “ Note You Left” CD\, drummer Jeff Boudreaux and bassist Uli Langthaler plus saxophonist Heinrich von Kalnein (also no stranger to the Vienna jazz scene) This concert is certain to be the meeting of great music \, old friends and new fans.\nWayne’s has recorded six CD’s of his own compositions including his most recent recordings “Stavanger Songs” with a quintet of top Norwegian musicians \, “Tanzanian Skies” with an ensemble made up of Tanzanian and Norwegian musicians\, and his latest CD “If You Would Dance “ with Peter Erskine\, Alan Pasqua and Tom Warrington. Wayne is also an associate professor and heads up the guitar department at the University of Stavanger in Stavanger\, Norway. \n  \n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:DAS BESTE VON AUSTRIA 3 von WIR4 geht in die Verlängerung. Zum 12-jährigen Jubiläum der Band kommt nun “Das Beste von Austria 3” – Teil 2 auf die Bühne und man kann auf einige Überraschungen gespannt sein! \n“Zwickt`s mi\, i man\, i tram” – jetzt kommt die Originalband von AUSTRIA 3 – bekannt als WIR4\, und hat den Spaß und die Lebensfreude des Austropop mit im Gepäck. Ihre unvergesslichen Hits wie “I am from Austria”\, “Da Hofa” oder “Jö Schau” halten “Für immer Jung” und erleben gerade so etwas wie eine Wiederauferstehung\, aber nicht am “Zentralfriedhof” sondern vor allem live auf der Bühne! \nWIR4\, das sind Ulli BÄER\, Gary LUX\, Harald FENDRICH und Harry STAMPFER. Viele erfolgreiche Lieder haben sie als Produzenten\, Texter\, Musiker\, Arrangeure oder Frontmen ganz entscheidend mitgeprägt und sind auch heute noch Garanten für moderne österreichische Musik. Von Falco bis Gerd Steinbäcker\, Georg Danzer bis Wolfgang Ambros und nicht zuletzt bei der legendären Band Austria 3 (A3) hinterlassen sie ihre musikalischen Spuren. \nDas ist keine Austria-3-Coverband\, das ist DIE Original Austria-3-Band.
